PRESS RELEASE – 14 FEBRUARY 2015

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 02/07/15 and ending 02/14/15.

VEHICLE IMPOUND

A scofflaw vehicle with $630 in outstanding fines was impounded from Chatsworth Ave on 2/9.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 2/9 and charged with operating with a suspended registration after he was observed driving a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $100 bail.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Yonkers man was arrested on 2/11 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed driving a vehicle on Palmer Ave and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.

BURGLARY

The owner of a Palmer Ave establishment reported on 2/11 that sometime during the overnight hours someone entered her place of business and removed $250 in currency from the cash register.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A New Rochelle man was arrested on 2/11 after he removed items from CVS on Chatsworth Ave. Frank PRESCOD, 62, was charged with Petit Larceny arraigned and turned over to Mamaroneck Town Police, where he was sought in connection with a Grand Larceny.

LARCENY

A Palmer Ave resident reported on 2/11 that someone removed property, valued at $40, from a parcel which had been left at her door.
