PRESS RELEASE – 16 JULY 2016

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 07/09/16and ending 07/16/16.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Mamaroneck Town woman was arrested on 7/9 and charged with operating with a suspended license after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident of Boston Post Rd.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on her own recognizance. 

LARCENY/PENAL LAW ARREST

The manager of the Larchmont Playhouse reported on 7/10 that an employee removed cash from the cash register drawer.  On 7/13 Larchmont Police Detectives arrested a Mamaroneck Village man.  Justin ROTH, 25, was charged with Petit Larceny, Falsify Business Records and released on $500 bail.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Sherwood Drive man was arrested on 7/11 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed driving a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance. 

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Connecticut man was arrested on 7/13 and charged with operating with suspended driving privileges after he was observed driving a vehicle on Palmer Ave and committing a traffic infraction.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance. 

LARCENY

The employee of a Yonkers business reported on 7/15 that overnight someone entered his work van that had been parked on North Ave and removed property valued at $550.
