PRESS RELEASE – 18 JULY 2015

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 07/11/15 and ending 07/18/15.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A New Rochelle man was arrested on 7/11 after he made contact with his estranged girlfriend in violation of an order of protection.  Michael SILVESTER, 46, was charged with Contempt of Court, arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $1500 bail.

BURGLARY

A Rockwood Drive resident reported on 7/11 that during the daytime hours someone entered his residence and removed property valued at $18,000.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 7/16 after Larchmont Police Officers responded to Manor Park on a report of two individuals smoking marijuana.  Howard KERR, 21, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and released on $30 bail.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 7/16 by Larchmont Police Detectives investigating a larceny of property using counterfeit $100 bills.  Jerson NORBERTO, 25, was charged with Larceny, two counts of 1st Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $24,000 bail.
