PRESS RELEASE – 10 JANUARY 2015

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 01/01/15 and ending 01/10/15.

BURGLARY

A Sherwood Drive resident reported on 1/5 that someone entered her residence and removed property valued at $1000.

LARCENY

A Boston Post Rd business owner reported on 1/5 that someone cashed a forged check drawn in the amount of $900 against the business checking account.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A South Windsor CT man was arrested on 1/6 after Larchmont Police Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a Woodbine Ave residence.  Michael CAROZZA, 21, was arrested and charged Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and released on his own recognizance.

VEHICLE IMPOUND

A scofflaw vehicle with $380 in outstanding fines was impounded from Lot 3 on 1/7.

BURGLARY

A Sherwood Drive resident reported on 1/5 that someone entered his residence and removed property valued in excess of $1600.
