PRESS RELEASE – 23 JANUARY 2016

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 01/16/16 and ending 01/23/16

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Mount Vernon man was arrested on 1/16 and charged with operating with a suspended driver license after he was observed driving a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A Palmer Ave resident was arrested on 1/21 on Addison St. based on a Warrant of Arrest issued by Mount Vernon City Court.  William TARRANT, 35, was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A Addison Street resident was arrested on 1/20 after he was observed driving a vehicle on Palmer Ave and committing a traffic infraction.  Maxwell PALMER, 24, was Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and released on $50 bail.

PENAL LAW ARREST

Three New Rochelle residents were arrested on 1/22 after the operator was observed driving a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction.  Kelly BRUNO, 24, Carlos ARGUETA, 22, and Francheska RAMIREZ-RIVERA, 26, were charged with Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th degree. All were arraigned; Bruno was released on $1000 bail, Argueta was released on $750 bail, Ramirez-Rivera was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $750 bail.

LARCENY

Employees of CVS on Chatsworth Ave reported on 1/22 that a male and female entered the store and removed property with an aggregate value of $200 without paying.
