PRESS RELEASE – 10 SEPTEMBER 2016

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the incidents investigated by the officers of the Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 09/03/16and ending 09/10/16.

LARCENY

A Larchmont Ave resident reported on 9/3 that someone removed his two bicycles, with an aggregate value of $1200, from the garage area of his residence.

LARCENY

A Woodbine Ave resident reported on 9/3 that someone removed his bicycle, valued at $700, from the garage area of his residence.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 9/4 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed operating a vehicle on Chatsworth Ave and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $200 bail.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A East Ave man was arrested on 9/4 after Larchmont Police Officers were summoned to a domestic dispute.  Samad TESHAEV, 35, was charged with Menacing 2nd and Criminal Mischief 4th.  He was arraigned and released on $500 bail.

LARCENY

A Monroe Ave resident reported on 9/4 that someone removed his bicycle, valued at $75, from the driveway of his residence.

LARCENY

A Mamaroneck Town resident reported on 9/5 that someone removed his bicycle from the garage area a Walnut Ave residence.  The bicycle was recovered by a Larchmont Police Sergeant at the dead end of Walnut Ave.

LARCENY

A Locust Ave resident reported on 9/5 that someone removed his bicycle, valued at $500, from the driveway of his residence.

YOUTH ARRESTS

Two Mamaroneck Village teenage males were taken into custody on 9/8 after one of them was observed removing a bicycle from the driveway of a Grove Ave residence by an off-duty Larchmont Police Detective.  Both were released to their parents and referred to Family Court. The bicycles returned to the owners.

LARCENY

A Mayhew Ave resident reported on 9/9 that someone removed his gas powered generator, valued at $1000, from the garage area of his residence.
